This site has been designed as a focal point for a group of ex-members who are determined that the memory of 249 Signal Squadron (FARELF) shall not slip into the obscurity of time.

• To maintain contact between former and current members of airborne units of the Corps to foster mutual friendship and support.

• To provide a focus for social and other gatherings of members of the Association.

• To provide assistance to members of the Association who require access to welfare support

• To preserve the memory and traditions of airborne units of the Corps

The Airborne Engineers Association Scotland, formerly Edinburgh Branch, was formed in 1998 with the Inaugural Meeting taking place on 20 September 1998 when 9 members attended. The AEA Scotland has now 40 members who, although mainly based in Edinburgh, are spread the length and breadth of Scotland. We also act as a 'mother branch' to several members in England, Australia, Thailand and Canada. Our Branch members have served in various units, including 4 Parachute Squadron RE., 9 Independent Parachute Squadron RE., 131 Parachute Engineer Regiment, and 131 Independent Parachute Squadron RE.

The Association welcomes all ex-service dog handlers of "Wagtails", "Groundhogs" & "Snappers" who served in Northern Ireland as part of ADU NI. This Association is run by the Lads for the Lads!

• No.163 Officer Cadet Training Unit, or
• any of their predecessor regiments, or
• any regiment with an (Artists) suffix.

The photos are available to all whether it is a family member looking for a photo of a relative’s grave or someone researching their local war memorial who wants a photograph for their book. The aim of the site is simply to allow access to the collection. If the photos are seen then the men whose graves are in the photograph are remembered. Job Done.

The men who filled the ranks of the corps in New Zealand in its first fifty years were the original Militia and included British Engineer Officers and ranks who, in both military and civilian guise contributed significantly to the building and development of New Zealand and its essential infrastructure. Some of the earlier tasks these early engineers were involved with included the basis of the Ministry of Works as they contributed to providing the development of New Zealand's:

• Ports, Railways and Roading network including Bridging

• Communications Systems (Postal and Telegraph)

• Mapping and Surveying (e.g. Major Heaphy and the Heaphy Track) 

The aims of the 'NIVA' are as follows:

• To become the first recognised association representing veterans of Northern Ireland.

• To provide, advice, support and assistance to its members.

• To bring together members of the services who saw service in Northern Ireland.

• To become a focal point for veterans who are suffering due to their service in Northern Ireland.

• To assist other associations in the achievement of their aims.

Membership of the RMP Association is open to all who are serving, or have served, in the Military Police; current active membership is about 2500, with a total membership approximately 16500.

The Royal Engineers in British Columbia 1858 – 1863. A tiny military force in a vast and boisterous gold rush colony, the 220 men of the Royal Engineers laid the foundations for much of British Columbia.

This website is dedicated to all that have served, and are serving, in the SAS, Special Air Service - the elite British Special Forces regiment.  The 22nd Special Air Service (SAS) of the British Army is regarded as one of, if not the best special forces and counter terrorist (CT) units in the world. They have been part of every major British conflict since World War Two, including the Falklands War and Gulf War 1 & 2. They are commonly referred to simply as "The Regiment".
